GEM Joinery were awarded the contract for the design, manufacture & installation of the complete first floor façade of the Samuel Beckett Civic Campus. The works consisted of solid larch glulam insulated frames with western red cedar cladding, infilled with a mix of diamond shaped western red cedar shingles & solar controlled
double glazed units operated with electronic actuators.

Special Features

Type A Units: Insulated Larch glulam frames with western red cedar clad K43
Type B Units: Insulated Larch glulam frames with western red cedar clad
Type C Units: Insulated Larch glulam frames with western red cedar cladding, western red cedar profiled shingles and solar controlled double glazed.
All timber and timber based materials used in this project were FSC Certified.
