GEM Joinery have recently successfully delivered the interior joinery fit-out for The July Hotel on behalf of Elliot Group, providing a comprehensive package of specialist bespoke joinery across the hotel’s front-of-house areas.
Working closely with the project team, GEM Joinery manufactured and installed a range of highly detailed, bespoke joinery elements designed to complement the hotel’s contemporary interior concept. The scope included specialist front-of-house joinery throughout the guest-facing areas, with a strong focus on quality, precision, and attention to detail.
The project incorporated a sophisticated combination of blackened steel, natural marble, terrazzo, and bespoke timber finishes, requiring careful coordination and craftsmanship to achieve the desired aesthetic. Each element was manufactured to exacting specifications, with particular attention given to junctions, detailing and the seamless integration of the various materials.
From feature reception and lobby elements to bespoke counters, wall panelling, displays and other architectural joinery, GEM Joinery delivered a high-quality finish throughout the hotel’s public areas. The combination of specialist materials and intricate detailing presented a number of fabrication and installation challenges, all of which were successfully managed through close coordination between our design, manufacturing, and site teams.
The completed fit-out showcases GEM Joinery’s ability to deliver complex, high-end bespoke joinery packages, combining skilled craftsmanship with modern manufacturing techniques to create a refined finish befitting a premium hotel environment.
